Tony Awards 2025: confira os vencedores do principal prêmio do teatro americano

O musical "Maybe Happy Ending" e a peça "Purpose" foram os grandes vencedores do Tony Awards 2025. A premiação, considerada a mais importante do teatro norte-americano, aconteceu na noite de domingo (8), no Radio City Music Hall, localizado em Nova York, nos Estados Unidos.

Apresentada pela atriz Cynthia Erivo, vencedora do Tony por “The Color Purple” e indicada ao Oscar por “Wicked”, a premiação foi pontuada por apresentações ao vivo. Enquanto “Sunset Boulevard” mostrou uma nova versão da trilha sonora, “Buena Vista Social Club” trouxe ritmos cubanos. Houve ainda “Just in Time” e “Real Women Have Curves”, além da reunião do elenco original de “Hamilton”.

Nas categorias, Cole Escola se destacou, levando o prêmio de melhor ator pela peça "Oh, Mary!", desbancando George Clooney e seu trabalho em "Good Night, and Good Luck".
